OASM's West Hangar is now heated!
Just before the "deep freeze" arrived... a week before Thanksgiving... Associated Heating and Air Conditioning, a local contractor we hired, installed a new 155,000 BTU gas heater in the West hangar. The project put a big dent in the Museum's cash reserves, but that portion of OASM has been problematic for visitor comfort during cold weather. Folks on senior tours should be particularly pleased during the winter months. Our next step in that hangar may be the upgrading of the building insulation to help with energy costs.
